Dami Im 2018 Australian Tour — Dami Im headed out earlier this year on an intimate tour, playing her hits and fan favourites with an exciting band.
After a successful initial series of concerts in April and May 2018, and as one of Australia’s most revered pop artists of the new millennium, Dami is bringing her ‘I Hear A Song’ tour this November to three regional performances across Australia.

Over limited dates, starting the 19th – 21st of April in Melbourne’s favourite venue Chapel Off Chapel, heading to the Brisbane Powerhouse, 4th and 5th of May and then ended the tour in one of Sydney’s boutique venues, The Leadbelly on the 10th – 12th of May. The songs were re-arranged, with new material from her just released “I Hear A Song” album woven into the set list and it was a chance to see one of the most talented and gifted Australian artists up close and personal.

While earning a reputation as one of the hardest working women in show business, Dami Im has quietly established herself as something of a national treasure. Accolades over the last couple of years have come thick and fast. But, where do you start? Dami’s first, fifty-date, national tour was a sell-out. The world was wooed by her in the Eurovision Song Contest. At home, her single Sound Of Silence shot to #1. Throw in the massive success of the Classic Carpenters album and we’re in the throes of an artist who is on the move.
Where do you go when you’ve achieved so much? For Dami it’s about getting back to her piano and writing songs. She’s a classicist – her new work is a nod to the golden age of great pop songwriting. At the piano she is nothing short of incredible, all while in possession of the best voice in the country.
In these select limited shows Dami will perform songs from her new album I Hear A Song such as ‘I Say a Little Prayer’ (Aretha Franklin), ‘Summertime & God Bless The Child’ (Billie Holiday), ‘Love On Top’ (Beyonce), ‘You Don’t Have To Say You Love Me’ (Dusty Springfield), ‘Come Away With Me’ (Norah Jones), ‘Round Midnight & My Funny Valetine’ (Ella Fitzgerald), ‘Cry Me A River’ plus some ‘Classic Carpenters’ and renditions of her own hits like ‘Sound of Silence’ backed by her amazing band.
Knowing Dami, we should expect something special from one of the most exciting Australian artists of the new millennium, up close and personal.
Starting on the 3rd of November at Gladstone Entertainment Centre, 23rd of November in Coffs Harbour’s C.EX and 24th November at Wests New Lambton, Newcastle. Dami will be performing with her live band, hits and fan favourites as well as songs from her recent ‘I Hear A Song’ album.
